Gene Horner was a dedicated volunteer at the Alaska VA, playing TAPS on his bugle during military funerals for hundreds of Veterans.  This was his personal mission which he selflessly fulfilled.  He was a strong, thoughtful and professional musician.  It was an honor working with and knowing Mr. Horner.

Gene was a great person and will be truly missed.
