I am currently helping a friend, Leonardo Canuti of Torrita di Siena, Italy, to find the family and relatives of US Private Cleavy Titsworth of Bakersfield, California.
Leonardo found Private Titsworth WWII metal name tag in the wall of an ancient house that he is restoring in the medieval town of Torrita di Siena, Tuscany, Italy.
I don't know if your beloved husband was related to Private Titsworth, but I am helping Leonardo the best I can.
