Mr. Oetzman was my 6th grade teacher at Turnagain Elementary School, 1967 or so. I think of him when I write in cursive letters. I remember having to use my whole hand, not my fingers! and create long cohesive spirals. Over and over. He really nurtured my love of reading, and I've always considered him both my best and my favorite teacher.
