This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Ernie Fazio, 75, born on January 25th, 1942 and passed away in 2017. We will remember him forever.
I knew Ernie since the second grade. We shared the same birthday. I went to Bishop O'Dowd in Oakland while Ernie went to St. Elizabeth's. We met again at Santa Clara University as freshmen in 1959. Ever present at Ernie's sporting events was his mom Angie and her cow bell. While Ernie is gone, my memories of him will last forever.
I just obtained a print from an original Topps negative of Ernie Fazio with the Kansas City Athletics in 1966. Topps never issued a card of Ernie with the A's, but this is what it would have looked like if they had.
