Our across-the-street neighbors in the ‘70s.  In recent years he made some very nice comments about the oddball sketches I have been putting up on Instagram.  Despite political and philosophical differences, I appreciated his gumption, style, engagement and perseverance.  Over 70 years in the same city and he obviously still loved it.
