Shubi was a kind and wonderful person who had a positive impact on all the folks she touched - as a physician, friend and member of the community. May she Rest In Peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Shubi I can't believe you are gone. You were always an amazing role model - Professor, wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend - and such a sweet and kind person. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, may they get strength from you to go on.
Shubi together with you in residency you brought beautiful things into my life that even you never knew about. Watching and learning from you doing Okike and Vander Salm cases was what I drew on managing heart and lung transplant cases in Miami. I did them very well Shube and it was you in the back of my mind in EVERY decision I made. Broken hearted I say goodbye to you.
Kindness is what comes to me when I think about you Dr Shubi Kaur. You always had a smile and I felt I could talk to you about anything. You left this life too soon and you will be missed by all.
Shubi, I first met you when you interviewed for a residency at UMMC on a bright cold spring morning in1987. My impression was that you were an exceptionally bright candidate destined for greatness. You did not disappoint madam chairman! Though our paths crossed only briefly i knew through your kind compassionate humility and loving nature you would touch many lives. Thank you for your legacy
I met Shubi at UMMS just in the last few years. We immediately connected based on shared values and experiences and worked together on a project that was dear to our hearts - improving the way we provide care for patients. Shubi was filled with life and possibilities. I will always remember her.
