Bob: While you were living in Macon, we played tennis together once a week for about three years- even played on a team together for a couple of years. I remember most your dry sense of humor, you talking about your family( daughters and grandchildren) and your funny stories. I will miss you my friend. Ken Nelson
Dr. Hartmann, You will be dearly missed! I enjoyed our talks about life, family, and most of all hearing about your adventures.

When I received my Ohio Wesleyan Magazine in April, I was shocked to see Bob's name in the In Memoriam section. I was Bob's roommate at Wesleyan for our junior and senior years. The last time I saw Bob, he was in my wedding in January 1966. Bob was a great guy and one of the smartest people I've known. I am deeply saddened that I did not track him down so we could share our eventful lives.
Dear Family of Dr. Bob,
I worked with him at Charter Lake Hospital in Macon, and he was such a kind doctor. Everyone loved his dry sense of humor.
I just looked him up online and saw that he passed away.
So sorry for your loss.
