I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Barnes saved my life in 2020. Diagnosing me with TMA. Only one per cent of transplant patients get this, and he figured it out. What a brilliant Dr he was. I will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families/coworkers. I enjoyed working for Dr. Barnes. He will be missed.
I recently worked in the ICU as a tech, but never directly with Shannon or Chad. Congrats on welcoming another son.
I’m sorry for you and your family’s loss.
I played soccer with Chad for years. Then as we each had children, I'd see him on the fields for toddler/youth soccer as well. I saw him weekly for months at a time, and could not believe this tragedy when I heard it. Chad was always so kind and fun, a real joy to have on the team. His loss leaves a hole in our hearts, a true tragedy. You will be missed, brother.
I just tried to make my annual check-in appointment and found out about your loss. I am so sorry. Chad was a major figure in my early VA plan of care...we kept our appointments going year after year up in Fairbanks because, well, just because. EVERY single year I would start our appointment by complimenting him on his same awesome backpack, I will truly NEVER forget Dr. Chadwick Barnes.
Dear Mrs. Barnes my name is Deventia Townsend. To say I loved your husband is a understatement, in 2016 your husband save my life when I somehow got C-diff. Doctors
wrote me off, but Dr. Barnes never did. I left a Ohio State (I'm from Toledo) hat for him thanking him for saving my life. I'm so very sorry for the loss, God knows I am. My number is 9079809291 if I can do anything at all.
