News of David's passing fills me with sadness and nostalgia: the first because I consider him one of HILR's gems, and the second because I recall his gentleness, humor, intellectual curiosity and his musicality with very fond memories of time shared: in Concord, or on the stage as our designated Shakespearian singer. David's non-pretentious competence and warmth will be missed.
I recently learned of David's passing with great sadness. He was truly one of the good guys at HILR where I first met him a dozen years ago. His unassuming and gentle manner belied an intelligent, inquisitive, and highly creative mind. Lucky were those of us who got to hear him captivate an audience on the sax, or share in his wonderfully warm sense of humor. RIP, David. You will be missed
