Margaret and family,
I am so sorry to hear of David’s passing.
He was a true gentleman and a finer man I have yet to meet.
I will always be grateful for the time we worked together, he taught me so much .
Much love,
Our heartfelt condolences to your entire family.
I was lucky to have known David from kindergarten through high school.
He was very special and will be missed by all who knew him.

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Link's and was brought to tears to learn of his passing. Whether it be a warm smile paired with a gift of "Geoffrey Bucks" to Toys R Us or word of comfort during a tough time, he brought humanity, dignity and love to his practice. Even as a child I always felt heard by him. My deepest condolences to your entire family. He was an angel and will be so missed.
David embodied the concept of being a Mensch from the first day we met in first year of medical school to our last conversation this past winter. My sincerest condolences to his family. His memory will be a blessing for all time.
I first met David when I was an intern in Pediatrics at MassGeneral. He was a wonderful teacher, mentor, pediatrician, and friend. I always admired his dedication to his family and career while pursuing charitable and global health work. My interest in doing global health was inspired by David. I will miss David and send my deepest condolences to his family. Howard Weinstein .
I met David in the early 1980's when, after pediatrics residency, I was assigned to a clinic in Somerville and admitted kids to Cambridge Hospital where he was Chief. He became a lifelong friend. For a time, I even stayed with David and Margaret in their home. I accompanied David during one of the exchanges he organized in Dnep, Ukraine. He was my mentor; my condolences to the family.
