Danny was thoughtful and gentle, and he truly cared about others. He was always willing to help without asking for anything in return. It was important to him to point out what he admired in others, and it made me feel good about myself. Danny could comprehend abstract ideas and explain them in simple terms or tie your mind up in knots. I will miss him. He was a great friend. I love you, D

Danny was an old soul with an incredibly kind heart.  Throughout high school, college, and our young adult lives, he would always have deep thoughts to share from a perspective you couldn't help but just smile and appreciate.  He was loyal and loving.  He was always quick to help and slow to judge.  The world is worse off with you gone, D.  I wish I could see that smile one more time.
