Dear Richard and the entire Claus family, I'm somewhat new to the NorCal group so didn't get to know Colleen well.  The beautiful obituary confirmed my experience of her.  She was so knowledgeable and generous with her knowledge but what came thru so clearly was she was so deeply caring.  Our hearts goes out to you and your entire family.  With deep sympathy, Mike Davies

How do you say goodbye to a wonder such as Colleen Kraus? She was kind, strong, intelligent and loved her family fiercely. She was there for her friends and gave of herself without reserve. She was loved. My heart goes out to Richard, the kids and the grands. My deepest sympathy to you all. Hold her memories with the light and love she had in her heart.  ~ Jeremi Rice

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Colleen.  I can't imagine the heart break of losing her.  She will be sorely missed by her friends and family. She was one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever known. I always admired how she carried herself with the utmost class and grace. We are all better off that we knew her. Keep her light and love in your hearts!

My condolences go out to Richard and the children and grandchildren as well as my cousins Colleens brothers and sisters. Colleen was so "devilish" as we were growing up. She will always be loved and cherished. McGraths just always remember "the RICE PUDDING" Love You Guys. Dan O'Connell.

Colleen was a great mentor and friend during the early part of my career.
Colleen always has a warm bit of advice ("Dave, you can't say that") as well as humor.
My sincerest condolences to Richard and her family. She will be missed, but forever in my heart.

I had the privilege of working with and for Mrs. Kraus. She was always trying to improve and make things right. We shared an instant bond and I learned from her that one person could make a difference. I am so sorry for your loss.

Miss Colleen was a kind, loving and intelligent force of nature.  She truly cared about people and loved her beautiful family.  She was an extraordinary person and will be so very missed. No doubt she is organizing something somewhere right now...

You do things and you move on in life and you think it’s over, but no. I would not have achieved the great accomplishments in my life if Colleen had not let me see that almost anything can be done. If she had not raised me up and let me flourish with my abilities I wouldn’t be here with so many good memories. I owe her so much and I’m so sorry I didn’t get to thank her.

Sending our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Colleen was a wonderful person and we feel honored to have known her through the NorCal Carcinet group. We wish you all peace during this difficult time. We know that Colleen is with us all.
