I will always think of Cappy whenever I walk through a state park - so many of those trails were built by the CCC, and while he only spent a year with them, and that was fully 80 years ago, it made such a huge impact on him. I remember him being so very grateful for the opportunity to work hard and earn money to share with his family - helping his family was so very important to him.
