My wonderful memories of my long and very special friendship, no, sisterhood with my dear Charlotte began more than 44 years ago not long after my arrival in Oakland for the Navy.We spent hours chatting and being bemused at life and its vagaries.Charlotte was a unique,true force of nature. She and her terrific family welcomed me with open arms. I miss her but was blessed to have known her.
