Thank you for welcoming the Kim family members into your life and being an “auntie” to me - I will cherish all of the many happy  memories with you during my childhood when I tagged along to visit you with my mom, including your pesto recipe which was the best I’ve ever tasted in my life, your three-legged cat, and all of the beautifully packaged gifts from you during the holidays!

Dearest Carol, I can’t believe 55years have passed since we were taking art classes together at the College of the Holy Names.  So many good times and talks.  Your hand written messages found partially hidden in thoughtful gifts. You have left as it was your time and I will miss you always.  My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to your family and friends.

Yesterday on April 1st I remembered that it was Ms. Larkin’s birthday. As a student at Holy Names I remember she shared this with us once. So I looked her up and was so sad to hear of her passing. Ms. Larkin was only my teacher for one semester but I always thought she was so incredibly kind. I offer my deepest condolences to her family. She has touched so many lives.

Carol Larkin has always been with me. Carol was and will always be one of the most beloved and respected mentors I've been blessed with. I've often wondered, Would Carol be proud of what I am doing with my artistic ability and skill? Today, I know in my heart, that our beloved Carol, our early mentor in fostering our creativity, would be pleased with me and my choices.
