Carl died peacefully surrounded by family. We feel so lucky to have had him in our lives.
His funeral will take place at Congregation Beth Elohim, 133 Prospect Street, Acton, MA at 1pm on Friday, March 10th.
Shiva will be observed on Saturday, March 11, 7-9pm, and Sunday, March 12, 2-5pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl’s honor can be made to Household Goods of Acton, MA.
I always loved Carl's birdhouses. Picking up various items, he'd create the world's most imaginative birdhouses.
It was always fun to have him ask-"do you know what this roof came from" and equally enjoyable to say " a old wash board" or something equally incredible. I hope his birdhouses get mentioned in Chronicle on Channel 5,
I worked with Dr Bender when he first started in Concord. He was a young doctor with some new ideas for the office. I loved working with him. He delivered 2 of my 4 children. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing, he was a wonderful person.
