This memorial website was created in honor of C. Jeffrey "Jeff" Grogan, 65, born on June 18th, 1956 and passed away on November 26th, 2021.
Jeff’s life was typified by service to others: to his family, his country, to the organizations of which he was a part, and to his friends. His impact on all who were privileged to walk in his path is deep and enduring, and he will be deeply missed.
I remember Jeff as a small freckle faced kid with a big smile who mastered the job of coxswain to four seniors at Noble and Greenough School in 1968. He managed to keep a rather rowdy crew in line as we cruised to an undefeated season, winning championships at Lake Quinsigamond and then the American Henley in Philadelphia. I wish to honor the memory of a great teammate long ago.
I was a classmate and friend of Jeff's from UVA. We were members of the same first year study group. Jeff stood out from day 1 at school as : A Leader, A Man of Integrity and a True Friend. My best wishes for Jeff's family. There will always be a warm place in my heart for Jeff.
