I have yet to meet anyone as encouraging and witty as Coach Sinnott, who inspired me to work hard in sports, education, and life. I still apply many of the simple values I learned from Coach into my everyday life, which I hope to pass on to my kids. I am reminded of Coach Sinnott whenever I see a VW van and when I begin the same cross country stretching exercises before my daily runs. When the guys/girls from the old team get together, many of our memorable stories surround Coach and his hilarious “one-liners.” Coach, it’s been a few years since you passed, but I (along with hundreds of others) will never forget you and what you meant to me as young student athlete trying to figure out life at that time. Thank you so much to Coach Sinnott’s family for letting him be part of our lives all those years at IHS. - Kurt Imperial ‘94
Most people knew you as coach Sinnott or Ryan , Kristi & kellies dad. Me I knew you as my adoptable big brother. Who failed a paper for a plethora of reasons when I got an A+ on the spelling test. You hid the homemade ?? really good @ thanksgiving &Xmas since I never got them??. But 12 days of Xmas without you singing 5 golden?? dad playing ?? & sue leading will never be the same
