Sad news but Bert was a wonderful person to know. Cycled with him and his wife, Flo, for many years.  Love to you Bert!  Condolences to the family.  I'm sure he will be missed by many.

I'm a classmate from Fieldston, and like many others in the class I remember Bert as a warm, kindly person, and at a reunion a few years ago I was delighted to hear he had chosen a career in veterinary medicine.
