This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Anne Chambers, 76, born on December 29th, 1943 and passed away in March 2020. We will remember her forever.
Anne, I will miss many things about you, but your fun irreverence tops my list. We “wine wobblers” had so many good times. I am so glad you were a part of my life! Goodbye my friend.
Anne was my teaching mentor and gave me one of my first jobs as a teaching assistant in 1985. I have so many memories from the years that we were in each other's lives. She was an inspiration to me as a person who lived fully and truly to who she was in the world: teacher, artist, backpacker. Peace to her family.
Anne was our neighbor. We used to see her walking past our house with her shopping bags, or sitting on the sun-drenched sidewalk drinking wine with her neighborhood friends. When we finally met her we discovered she was a beautiful artist with a wicked sense of humor and a passion for enjoying life. And she could cook! We miss her even as we hear her laughter wafting thru the neighborhood.
I met Anne when she was teaching at Harbor High School. A small group of us decided to get our Masters in Education at San Jose State. Even after we received our Masters our group would get together for dinners, brunches, and walks. Anne and her wonderful sense of humor were always a big part of our get togethers. She is sorely missed by our group and we talk of her often.
I met Anne in high school and I feel lucky that we kept it spinning for the better part of 60 years! She was truly creative, feisty and fun. I will miss the laughter.
