While Anne may have been "Anne #2" in our office, she was and will always be "Anne #1" in our hearts. She was an irresistible force who blew into our lives--a whirlwind of energy, enthusiasm, and love. Anne mothered all of us, even me, her contemporary. She'd come into my office, magically sense the stress, and literally massage it away with the most amazing shoulder rubs. Anne was larger than life and one of a kind. With her passing, she leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. It was a privilege to know her, to work with her, and to laugh and cry with her. My deepest sympathies to Michel, Henry and Marlene, and to each member of the sprawling family Anne loved to tell us about. How fortunate you all were to have Anne choreographing your lives!
