I was shocked to hear this news I met Ann in Paris many years ago and our  paths separated but she was always some where in my thoughts and in the last few days I thought I would surprise her and tell her about a project I have been working on the history of the UCV after the civil war and especially the last decades when they were almost gone for the Univ of Virginia what happened to her?
