Saddened to hear of Andy's passing. He was so friendly, smart, and a very skilled nurse. He was liked by everyone at BWH. I wish his family peace and healing for their tragic loss.

Andrew was the face you wanted to see coming around the corner of your pod when you called a code.  He was the calm, quiet, confidence in the chaos of an emergency that was so necessary in the moment. The Brigham lost an insanely valuable nurse this week, but beyond the walls of the tower it is evident that the world has also lost someone incredible.  Praying his wife, and family and most especially his children continue to feel his calm confidence in some way as they navigate this new chaos without him.  

I am very sorry for your loss. Andrew was definitely a treasure. He is one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. He was so kind and caring and so very smart when he showed up to my rapid responses, I knew everything was going to be OK I am devastated by the news. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Always such a positive presence in any situation at work. He was a great nurse and genuinely such a nice person.I always enjoyed working side by side with him. So sorry to hear this news. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, and courage to face the days ahead.
