I knew Alorie for 48 years or so--we raised our kids together, sang together, politicked together, meditated together, celebrated and commiserated together as our lives took their up-and-down courses. She was constantly inspiring me, teaching me as she did so many. Her death leaves a huge hole in my heart. My thoughts are with all the members of her family, close and extended.
