This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved Tina or as her husband Alex lovingly referred to her "Alber". Tina passed away on May 1, 2023 in Malaga, Spain after a yearlong battle with cancer. Tina fought bravely and never gave up on the fight for life. Unfortunately, at the time of her death there were some family members and friends that she was unable to express her love to and say goodbye.  It is my hope that anyone who knew Tina and takes the time to visit this page will take a minute and share some words or thoughts. It is always hard to lose someone you love and not being able to express your love to them can make it that much harder. She will be missed dearly but in our hearts foreve. Thank you for taking the time to visit.

I met Tina back in San Francisco with Chelsea.
She was pure kindness and such a sweet soul.
We ended up in Ibiza once, the three of us a few years ago. It was a trip to remember and I'm happy I crossed paths with this lovely woman.
She'll be in my heart,
My deepest regrets to her family and close friends

I met Tina in Spain through Chelsea and all I can say is she was a beautiful caring person to people and animals.
I will remember fondly going to yoga classes and language exchange events with her in Madrid and Barcelona.
It’s so sad to hear she’s gone so soon. Sending lots of light and love to her family and loved ones.

I had the chance to meet Tina and interact a couple of times with her and I must say that she was a very sensitive person, very kind and respectful. I wish I met her in a more personal way. I'm sure she is in a better place now, she left very early but only the good die young.

Good bye dear Tina.

Tina was one of my favorite people. Still is, she’s irreplaceable. Her kindness was infinite, as well as her understanding and forgiveness. She was so supportive as friend, but still found ways to gently push me if she thought I was headed down the wrong path. Over the past 10 years we grew very close, texting everyday. I loved sending her ridiculous news articles about crazy things Americans did and making her laugh. We supported each other through the highs and lows of our lives. Through moves to different countries, breakups, and marriages. I will always miss her love and friendship.

Precious Tina lived with me while attending MIIS (grad school). We became so close & laughed SO much. In addition to her gentle & generous spirit, she was funny. I told her if Environmental work didn’t pan out, she should consider a career in physical comedy. I will miss her forever. My precious friend. <3

Tina didn’t have the best luck with suitors, and so when she met Alex, I was over-the-moon happy for her. FINALLY! Someone deserving & appreciative of sweet Tina.  Thank you Alex for loving TINA & taking care of her.
And to Liz: Tina missed you all the time she wasn’t with you.  What a marvelous mom you must be. <3

I had the privilege of hiring Tina as a Planning Technician in Lancaster, SC.  She was so kind and intelligent.  After 6 months, I promoted her to Planner I.  She was such a hard worker and was always there to support me.  She had a cool calm sense of humor, and we became friends!  I will forever cherish the beautiful memories of her.  May her memory be eternal!

Was thinking of great times in my life & thought I would text up one of them, Tina. But the phone owner contacted me and I was most sadden to find out she passed. My times with her was at SF State til her leaving to Spain. Chill, sweet, loves swimming, smart & resourceful. I will always cherish my friendship & time and would always like to see more of her but was allergic to Chelsea's cat
