I remember working with "Winnie" while at the Lexington Fire, in July 1985. We had been dispatched as a strike team to protect the Lupin Lodge in the Santa Cruz Mtns. Jimmy Cooper was another tailboard, and I think Chuck Hahn was the captain. Winnie had a "fun time" driving the rig up those steep winding hills to our endpoint. He was a really good guy. RIP Winnie.
