This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, (Wilma) Sue Cory Nobriga. We will miss and remember her forever.

A former resident of San Mateo, CA, Sue passed away after a short illness on November 1, 2016.
Born in Kansas City, MO on September 11, 1935 to Harold Cory and Marion Bruce Cory, she moved to California in the mid ‘50s where she raised her three children Randy (Donya) Walker, Joe Doyle and Jennifer (Mark) Semeit.
Sue loved children and worked in childcare with her daughter Jennifer for many years. She had a distinctive, sweet and very contagious laugh. A laugh she shared with us often.
She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Mateo, CA and showed unwavering faith in The Lord during her lifetime and was comforted in her final days with his plan for her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Nobriga and her brother Donald Bruce Cory.
She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Jeremiah, Rachel, Rebecca, Jedediah, Jacob, Daniela, David, Tyler, Shane, Kira and Travis, as well as 4 great grand children: Ridge, Sophia, Emily and Ainsley.
Sue is also survived by her loving sister Barbara Cory Huddleston of San Mateo, and many adoring nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Dec. 3 at 12pm at the First Presbyterian Church on 25th Ave. in San Mateo.

Auntie Suzie made me feel like I was back at school, giggling in the back row of the classroom! It wasn't just me. I saw her bring out that free spirit in everyone whose life she touched. I am so happy to have had such an accepting and fun-loving aunt in this country I now call home. I will remember our family trip to New York and Suzie's love of life and laughter forever.
