I am saddened today hearing of the loss of my longtime friend Bill. Some of the best times of my early life were shared with him and many of our great friends. I remember his 1st car that crazy 67 ford Mustang. Did we have some great times in that car. My wife Sue and all his okla friends missed him so much when he left for calif. We called him rattlesnake man. He did so love them. RIP
Bill was my neighbors and friend he live around the corner in Lawton Oklahoma I lived on logan and he live around the corner I remember when we went to prom in his dad's convertible Eld Cadillac we had a great time with our dates his dad was my math teacher. The last time I saw bill was when his dad died and he came by for about a hour we talk and had a great time catching up RIP BILL
Bill's Mom, Patricia, still talk about our Billy-- she misses her son, and I miss my Sweetheart. Today he would have turned 59. He was taken from us too soon.
5 years. Seems like a lifetime ago...time passes slowly without Bill. His Mom Patricia has moved to Indiana to be closer to her Son Jonathan and family. She's happy and doing well in an asisted living home. Just what Billy would have wanted for her. Bill's ashes we're scattered i this favorite places..Pacific Grove, at his brothers, and with me...but His love and devotion lives on.
6years. I've been sorting through our storage shed to de-clutter. What treasures I've found --well treasures to Bill that is--like his rodeo belt buckles, stetson hat country western shirts, jeans and Different nik-nacks --he did like to save little things. The good memories outshine the struggle Billy went through at the end of his life.
Time is a funny thing...Sometimes it feels like a moment ago that Bill was with me, and other times it feels like a lifetime ago when I was my happiest with him. Patricia is still doing fine in Indiana. There isn't a conversation that we have that doesn't include how much she misses her son, and I miss my sweetheart...but life goes on, and I know we'll be together again in heaven.
September 10, 2023... Would have been Bill's 62nd Birthday... I was standing at the seashore in pacific grove, where his ashes were sprinkled. I still miss you I whispered.
Bill is always missed, and always loved by his family and friends . STILL MY ONLY sweetheart. Julia
