Of all the things he gave me, the phrase, "He was a good guy" is my favorite. When he said it, it was with high praise. Uncle Bill, you will always be remembered as a "good guy".
Thank you for all the things you have done and all the things you were. Rest in peace.
With heavy hearts - Randy, Kristin, Bennett, Henson

Fond Memories Deb Forte & Bill Ranney
I send the Sullivan family’s heartfelt condolences to Mrs. DeLuca, her children and their families.
I first met Mr & Mrs DeLuca when I was 14 and their house at 61 Burch Rd was under construction: we were to be neighbors. That summer evening in 1964, I was with a younger brother & sister looking for scrap-wood to build a tree house. The DeLuca's drove into construction site and caught us! The young couple quickly put us at ease.
Over the years, Mr D was an extraordinary mentor and father-figure to me. He taught me how to drive a stick-shift and gave me a summer job at 15. Subsequently I worked for him every summer at the dealerships. Later, I worked in his insurance unit, and when I became a lawyer he celebrated like a dad my final passage of the bar exam. Mr. DeLuca also taught me the important lessons of working hard and never ‘throwing in the towel’. He was the one who gave me the confidence to step out into the sometimes scary world and become the person I am. I owe so much to Mr. D
I will always be deeply grateful to Mr. D. Not only was he a very successful businessman--he also took the time to guide and nurture the people around him, with an understanding and forgiving heart: he looked for the best in others; and left them better then when he found them.
Mr. William DeLuca was known in Andover for having a very classy Auto Dealer at Woolworth Motors. IF ever I wanted to see a "Dream Car" I would go there. We were honored to have Bill DeLuca in our AHS Class of '74 and he was a good athlete and, "a good guy!" Our hearts reach out to the whole DeLuca Family as they loose the Patriarch of their family. May he Rest In Peace, Patty
I left the company many years ago, but I always admired his drive. I looked at his yearbook online and his ambition was to be rich. His obituary showed how he worked determined to accomplish that goal. Looking want where he started and what he did, I think he got further than even he expected.
