During Bill's time at 2nd Baptist Church in Richmond, I had the great pleasure of being in his Bible studies for many years.  My Bible is filled with notations from those classes. Not in there but memorable was oncce, while talking about attacks on conventional religion and God, he said  "Buck up God, you still have Bill!".  He and Delanna were incredible role models for Cathy and me.
