Jan and Bill and Pammy, Long time since we connected. I'm not sure what led me to search on Google for Bill Lehmberg and find this obituary for William, Sr. I have such a positive memory of him. He was really nice to me, and even went so far as to help me get an interview at The New England after college. I feel for you all and hope you are all well. Best, Eric Slade, Baltimore MD
Jan….I was sorry to hear that Bill passed. He was beloved at Baystate Financial by so many and instrumental in my assimilating to Boston in 1996. His sense of humor, investment knowledge, and helping ways with advisors has rarely been duplicated. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Dave Porter
Dear Jan and family, So very sorry to hear the news of Bill’s passing. He was firstly a wonderful gentleman and I know a husband and Dad. He was also a great teacher of the investment business and the best salesman I ever knew. For me he was a friend , a confidant and mentor. I remember him so fondly. Lastly was light years ahead of the industry and founder of Baystate Financial Services .
Jan-I was so sorry to learn about Bill's passing. He was a good friend for many years and we enjoyed spending time with him and you. I also remember many competivie tennis matches with Bill and some good times at Foxwoods. He was a master at selling investments and I did enjoy seeing him a few years ago at lunch at The Marriott when we gathered to celebrate Walter Downing's life. Alan
Jan & family - I am so very sorry to hear of Bills passing. I worked at Downing & Desautels in college as did my older sister (Evelyn) who also loved to play tennis. Bill was a brilliant investment specialist, and more so a kind person who always made time for the younger people in the firm. May wonderful memories carry you through this difficult - Kevin & Karen Lane
