Bill Drake was an extraordinary man.  His energy and commitment to fighting Esophageal Cancer seemed boundless to me, and this is my calling.  From the time I met Bill many years ago, until the last time I saw him at a meeting about advances in research, he was always focused, committed and so gracious.  Like so many others, I will miss Bill.  His impact leaves an important legacy.
