Dear MacDonalds, I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always have the fondest memories of “Mr. MacDonald” just as described: a kind, refined gentleman who was handy at his workbench and in his yard. I can still hear him calling out through all the girlish shrieks and giggles to Lambie, Button, and Kitten, “girls, girls settle down now.” May your memories give you comfort during this time.
Dear Anne, Emilie, Laura, Bruce and Bea, I am thinking of you and hold such sweet memories of your Dad/Husband. His endless patience during drives around town: to my house, to yours, and back in the same day, to the movies, and to Quincy Market for endless stickers. My favorite memory: trips to Friendly's where we were allowed to have shakes for breakfast. My thoughts are with you all.
