It was my good luck to work with Ed at Abt in Cambridge over 30 years ago. Ed was an incredibly smart, conscientious, and caring person. He was a sage and also had humorous wit. There are too many examples to fit in a small space like this. He has and will continue to be remembered as one of the really good people. We could use more like Ed.
It is with the most profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of the incomparable Ed Peed. Ed was not only an outstanding actor, but was a lovely human being - kind, generous, light-hearted, collaborative and an endless source of good humor and great stories. He was deeply devoted to his craft and just as deeply devoted to all who had the privilege of working with him. Ed first joined Moonbox with his poignant portrayal of Curly in Of Mice and Men (2012), then (in his self-professed dream role) as the formidable Lady Bracknell in The importance of Being Earnest (2013), and finally as Count von Strack in Amadeus (2016). Thank you Ed for your friendship and for sharing your talents with us. You will be remembered always with love and awe and with gratitude for our good fortune in knowing you. Rest in peace old friend
