I will always remember Lion Bill for his Lion sized heart and demeanor. He was a Man's Man and his Marine service, fitness and height displayed his great character.   At first meeting he could be intimidatingly but once you knew him Bill's sense of humor was subtle but infectious.     I will miss taking a buck or two from him each when I tail twisted him just because we was a Marine!.
