I remember Bill Kassis as a kind, friendly man who reached out to students who needed encouragement. I remember his lessons in the forms of stories that left a mark on my life. He will be remembered fondly.
He was a kind - loving man .. I remember him always asking how I was doing.. he truly cared about students and always made sure they were loved. He always made us laugh and his joy was contagious. He impacted the life of many and his legacy lives on in all of those whom where touched by his love and life..????????????????????
Thank you for your sweet spirit & kindness while I was a student at Bethany. Your now where you always wanted to be. See you again my friend.
Poppa Bill. I miss him dearly even as I must acknowledge he is finally at rest. I will forever remember how he blessed my life. His joyous presence, welcoming smile and deep love for our Abba mixed with his effervescent humor is engraved in my heart.
BIll thank you for all you taught me at Bethany. Not to take life so serious. You taught me to love everyone no matter what. May you rest in the arms of the Lord.
Ps. Tell Darlene Little I said hello.
Bill always made me feel at home while I was at Bethany. He had an open door for us to come visit, drink tea and spend time in God’s word. Such a wonderful man who loved us kids like his own. I still cherish my time with him and Janette and made sure my own children got to meet the man who meant so much to me while I was in college. He will be missed!
We lovingly remember big Bill who was such a kind and gentle giant! His presence was almost everywhere on campus! I remember he lived on Bethany Drive cause we lived on #475 Bethany Drive. He and his wife once invited us over for a tasty Lebanese meal! Truly he is in his eternal home. ????Glenn and Gloria Stone
We've known Bill as our neighbor and friend for the last 25 years. We knew him as Janette's loving and caring husband and as a kind man with a marvelous sense of humor.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill for many years. During my time as police chief in Scotts Valley, Bill, Janette, and I often met for lunch at Malone's. Bill's gentle kindness, deep faith, and generosity of spirit were such a joy to be around. He gave so much to Bethany University and Scotts Valley. But most of all, he cherished his wife Janette. Rest in peace, my friend. Rest in peace.
So grateful that we were blessed with the opportunity to have met pappa Bill, he was a kind, giving, and sweet man that always found a way to make us laugh. The countless meals we shared in his home with his lovely and sweet wife Janette, were a blessing indeed. He came to my wedding, and my kids had the privilege of meeting him. He was a blessing indeed!
