Our long-time neighbor and dear friend. We were always amazed at Wheaton's easy recall of details from old movies, musicals and historical events.  We'll miss having an iced tea with you on your screened-in porch.

We always enjoyed his company when we came to visit family in Newton. He will be dearly missed at the dinner table.

He was well loved and will be greatly missed by his friends, the Faso Family of Upstate New York.

Wheaton was a generous and kind man, with a terrific sense of humor.  He was a wealth of family history and a terrific artist.  We will miss you Wheaton.  Your cousin  Rebecca and our family will remember you.

Devastated to see this.   Cousin Wheat was kind enough to jumpstart my genealogical work when I was a teenager almost 50 years ago.  I decided to reach out to him again because I happened to be in Newton Center today, and found this.  Sorry to those of you who had the good fortune to know him better
