This is a devastating loss. Professionally, Wendy was a total rockstar. But more importantly, she cared so much about her students and dearly loved her daughters -- Wendy lived a life committed to others. I just wish we'd been able to have one more chat, talk one more time.

Wendy... devoted mother, brilliant mind, generous spirit, huge heart.  I smile thinking about your fabulous, droll sense of humor and  wonderful laugh. I am grateful to have known you. You've left us too soon.

This is a terrible loss -- both to Wendy's family and to the profession -- and much too soon.  I had the pleasure of working with Wendy when she was in private practice, and after she returned to Harvard Law School.  I find it hard to believe that she is gone.

Attending several strategy meetings in the Trump era with Wendy introduced me to her deep commitment to social justice, particularly as it is embodied in environmental protection, her intellectual generosity and her kindness.  I wish I had gotten to know her better.  We will miss her ideas and counsel as we emerge from the defensive posture of the Trump era to Biden-era progress.
