Wendell was my cross country coach in high school
He was great
He coached many and influenced our character
He was passionate and committed about long distance running
I have never forgotten him

I spent one of the best years of my life with Wende, long ago. He was a mentor, a lover and one of the kindest men I ever knew. Peace to him, and peace to his family.
