The loss of a loved one can be devastating, as our hearts were not designed to accept death, but instead made to love for eternity.(Eccl 3:11)  Therefore, please take comfort in this promise at Acts 24:15, "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
