Wayne and I worked together for 20 years. He was my good friend & an ingenious and precise manager. I am grateful to him for all he taught me. He is a fine man.
My sympathy to his family.

My heart broke when I learned of Wayne’s passing. We meet when we were 15. I was the new kid and he went out of his way to welcome me. A rare thing for a 15 year old. He was my best friend. We were best men at each other’s weddings. We laughed together. I will always remember him as a force for good. Kind and generous. Truly a good man. My heart goes out to his family.
Although we only had the privilege of knowing Wayne a little over two years through Bridge and Team Trivia, we knew him well enough to realize that he was a kind, generous and caring friend. Wayne had a great sense of humor and an easy-going attitude. He was a very accepting and welcoming person. We are so sad to have to say goodbye, but we will always cherish the moments we shared.
Wayne was a wonderful, loyal friend from the time we connected at Roosevelt Elementary School in Burlingame and lived around the corner from each other. He was extraordinarily kind, generous, and funny. What laughs we shared over the years, especially at Burlingame Intermediate School, before my family moved East. We remained in touch, and I loved him. I'm so sorry for his family's loss.
