Megan -  Wishing I had known your wonderful father more personally -   I know this is a big sea change - The world will not be the same without him, and heaven is a better place.

Had a great experience knowing Capt Hughes. I worked for Lockheed and built Sea Shadow.  We had many high level naval officers visit the ship in Redwood City, As part of their west coast travel, would often see the Capt at NPS. Capt Hughes and I would exchange intel about the visitor interests. We have a second home in Pacific Grove and able to visit Capt Hughes at his home a few times.
