To the Hoy family: I was a student at Campo in the 70s/80s. Mr. Hoy was respected, admired, and well-liked by all students. I always felt that I was getting the best possible education under his leadership. I have many vivid memories of his friendly, compassionate interactions with students. I was fortunate to have known him. Tom McInerney (Campo ‘82)
Godspeed Mr Hoy! Bless your Family! You were a Wonderful Man! Rest In Pease ??
To All My Hoy Cousin’s,
Uncle Walt was so inspiring to me growing up, so proud of his accomplishments in life as representing Our Chinese Heritage. I’ll always remember him advising me about my daughters cheerleading group transportation issues and it was resolved thanks to the advice. He’ll be missed.

Though I haven’t seen you or your family in many years, I still have fond memories from my youth when our lives intersected for a while. I remember your dad, good natured & watchful as a group of us invaded your family pool for one of our junior high parties. I also have memories of him serving as chauffeur to and from the movies. Your family always stood out to me as a strong, caring, community-minded family-- a reflection of the model set by your dad. I consider him a man of good character worthy of my respect 50 years later. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
