Very sorry for your loss. It's devastating to lose a loved one and it leaves us wondering why. Comfort can be found in the words of Isaiah 25:8 which says God will swallow up death forever and wipe away the tears from all faces. Romans 5:12 tells why we die. A future resurrection is promised at Acts 24:15 and Psalms 37:9-11,29 says where we will live forever in health and happiness. jw.org
