My 2nd mother.  Amazing,  loving,  fun,  just a few words to sum mom up.  She always made me feel just like i belonged in her family.  Love her deeply, miss her greatly. But i know i will see her again in heaven, and we'll have our laughs again.

My second mother, I loved you so much growing up, you were an integral part of my being and I adored you. I never forgot how you loved the way I folded socks..your laugh had another zip code, a vivacious and loving spirit. I will always cherish your memory.

To go backwards in time, through the struggles, past the illness that robbed us of her, memories swim to the surface of my mind of a beautiful, kind, loving woman. She was a force in my life that taught me how politeness courtesy worked, she trusted me, loved me. She had fun wherever she went, and where she was, was the place to be. I will miss her enthusiasm, her zest for life, and her smile.

I’m honored to have been with you in the last days of your battle with Alzheimer’s, as your caretaker. You’ve been a part of my life for 23 years. I knew you to enjoy friendship, a nice meal out and a laugh. I know you and Dick were devoted to each other, and he stood protectively by you until the end. Your home is welcoming. May you be received in heaven now until we meet again. Xoxo

I miss my grandmother so much and I know how she was so loved by everyone who knew her. I'd give anything to have her back the way she was, but I'm so glad that she's moved on to a place where there is no pain, no suffering, no confusion, and no fear. I love you, Yiayia.
