Vito was a fellow teacher at Oneida Jr. High School when I joined the staff in 1976. I remember his inclusion of the cultural and historical contributions of local Oneida natives through classroom visits and school assemblies. He generously sponsored student attendance at Oneida Area Arts events. Stern, with a heart of gold. He will not be forgotten.
