Virginia was one of the great women leaders in Virginia for all time, through her work with the VEA, NEA, MWC/UMW and elsewhere.  Her love of learning, enjoyment of life, perpetual smile, and irrepressible spirit when working for the benefit of others will always be remembered.  She will be greatly missed, but her spirit and memory live on in the countless lives she touched.  Ron Singleton
