A Force of Nature in Sprit and Determination. The anchor of my family, the voice of reason I hear everyday, and the inspiration we all share to live life to the fullest. There will never be anyone like her and I miss her so very much.
The smartest, strongest woman I have ever met, my mom.
Ginny came into my life unexpectedly, and we became friends. She had the unique ability to make you feel like family. She shared her humor, guided me when needed, and challenged me endlessly. She is completely irreplaceable. Goodbye my friend.
Marianne & family - With fond memories of days spent on Stone Rd. over 50 years ago where your Mom would actively engage us in conversation before/after her shifts at McLean's, I send you my heartfelt condolences. She was the first woman I knew who managed her own successful professional career while being a wife and Mom. She fascinated me. Wishing you all peace.
Each of us will remember Ginny through a different lens and no matter the perspective she will be remembered. My fondest memory was her kindness. She extended kindness to me, not because she knew me but, because Marianne knew me. She loved her family and they are stronger for having had her in their lives. Condolences to all of you who helped her on this journey.
God Speed Ginny.
Virginia was one of the strongest, most caring woman I have ever known. I feel blessed to have had her as a bestest friend for over 40 years. She was always there when needed and for lots of fun. She helped me become a better nurse and mother. I miss her kind voice, her fun, and her love.
Her son Gregory said it best: She was a force of nature. I was sad to hear the news from Barbara Degan that Virginia had died. I knew her from her Boston University days, when she spent many a lunch hour sitting in the visitor's chair in my office in the History Department--we talked about virtually everything imaginable. She was a good friend who never judged harshly, and I miss her.
