This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Vincent Scolari, 89, born in 1929 and passed away in 2019. We will remember him forever.
The best pops in the world! You were the man among men. You had integrity, honesty and family values. Most of all you taught us true love in the way you loved our mother. I am going to miss talking to you dad! See you in my next life
I will truly miss our conversations about family and dogs. Vince was my father-in-law for over 36 years and the most honest man I’ve known, even if it stung a bit! You 6 kids are Blessed to have such truly good parents. Our BBQs and get togethers were loud and so wonderful over the years leaving memories I will NEVER forget. I love this family. I loved Vince, my dad too.
I have been blessed to be a part of this family for 28 years and have been inspired by Vince since the moment I met him. He may have been my father-in-law but he treated me like a daughter. What wonderful memories I have of our time together. He was so kind and funny, and so full of love for his family (and every animal on the planet!) I love you Vince and will miss you so very much.
Thank you Dad for cheering us on to the point we all believed in ourselves. My career was so very difficult at times yet you listened, laughted & always made me focus on the "bigger picture"...you were there whenever we looked up. Please don't worry were all here for Mom. You'd be proud of all of us, I love you, Dad
Deb
I remember Dad as a man who was driven by two things in his life, the love of his soul mate and wife of 69 years (you could also call her his girlfriend) and his family. He would tell me about each kid’s successes often. I will miss my father, my friend and my mentor more than can be put into words.
I did not get to know him a long time but I am so thankful I got to spend a little time with him a few months ago. He will be missed so much and hugs to everyone. We love you Grandpa!
As I get older I see more of you in me Dad. It's true what they say about 'Kids becoming their Parents', I'll never be the man my Father was but you made me the man I am today Dad. I know it seemed I wasn't listening but it all sunk in and I have you to Thank for being who and where I am today. I learned so much from you, going to miss our talks. Love you Dad, Mom will be well taken of.
You were one of the most admirable men I’ve had the opportunity to meet. Sadly, I didn’t know you long but feel it an honor to have shared our short time together. Your strong work ethics, undying love of your wife and family, kindness to your fellow humans and all animals, are a few of the qualities which made me proud to be your daughter-in-law. Gratitude!
I had the privilege and blessing to have known Vince since I was 18. I will always remember when you were teaching me to drive out by Port Costa, it was not going well and you said I would either learn or you were going to leave me there. I don't think you meant it but I didn't want to find out. I admired you then and still. Every time I see a quail or rabbit I will be thinking of you!
2020, Love to hear what you have to say about what's going on here! It would have been 91 Dad, closing on to that 100 year mark. Miss You
