A wise gentleman, as well as a truly gentle man. A teacher. A friend. He changed not only my view toward health but my worldview in general. May he rest in peace.

He was a great teacher of the Course in Miracles and understood what Jesus was trying to teach us all: forgiveness. We will all miss him and we all loved him. See you on the other side of the veil. Bill Williams MD

It was an honor and a pleasure to be in Vernon's presence at A Course in Miracles.  He offered profound deep explanations which enhanced our discussions.  He was cherished and will be missed.

Working with Dr. Sylvest created a decade of memories. He was a man that you could learn from, argue with, laugh and cry and yet  at the end of the day knew you had each other's respect. He was absolutely one of a kind.

Dr. Sylvest was and is a great spirit and it was an honor to know him as a wise counselor, teacher of ACIM, and compassionate healer.  The guided meditations in that rich, deep voice were transformative.  A truly beloved man!

Vernon hired me to work with him at The Institute of Higher Healing and took me with him when we moved to open The Richmond Health & Wellness Center.  He was one of my best mentors, teachers, and friends.  I think of him and his family often, and I am a better man for having met Vernon

I worked with Dr. Sylvest at LabCorps and will always remember how interesting he made the work day. He called me Maximosis and I called him Sylvesticosis.  So happy that our paths crossed in this life. Dr. Sylvest, you will surely be missed.
